Elementi popularne kulture u romanu Tomasa Pinčona „Objava broja 49”

Kad god čitamo tabloide, nosimo džins ili uživamo u gledanju popularnih filmova, mi ujedno učestvujemo u, i postajemo sastavni deo, popularne kulture. Obzirom da Pinčonov roman, Objava broja 49, predstavlja jedinstven odgovor (ili reakciju) na američku kulturu šezdesetih godina XX veka, ovaj rad ima za cilj da izdvoji i analizira elemente popularne kulture, a zatim i da otkrije dublje značenje ovog kratkog romana, uz njihovu pomoć. Zahvaljujući, prvo, detaljnom obrazlaganju termina popularna kultura, a zatim i pronalaženju elemenata iste u delu, ovaj rad postepeno uspeva da objasni značaj izdvojenih elemenata u Pinčonovoj Objavi broja 49.
